These data include a subset of the CMIP6 input data assessed by the IPCC AR6 WGI authors for region South America (120°W - 30°W, 58°S - 15°N). Included is the land area fraction (sftlf) data of the experiments historical, ssp126, ssp245, ssp370, and ssp585 for models providing more than 5 out of 12 core variables.
