CoastDat-4 (https://www.coastdat.de/about_us/) comprises a compilation of consistent hindcasts obtained from numerical models. The dataset's atmospheric part is simulated using the COSMO in CLimate Mode version 6 (http://www.clm-community.eu) with different boundary conditions. The objective is to provide a consistent meteo-marine data set.
This new data set should be understood as an upgrade of the coastDat-3 data.
