The joint objective of the Project is to investigate the effects of global climate change on structure and functions of agricultural landscapes on a regional scale and to work out projections for their development until 2030 taking into consideration various possible socio-economic conditions and adaptation processes. In order to achieve these objectives, regional climate models coupled with land surface and crop models as well as with multi agent systems in a new integrated land system model have been used, and structure and parameterization of various model components are to be optimized. Field measurements and controlled experiments have been serving to improve model components and their parameterizations, and to validate the individual models and the coupled model system. more information see http://klimawandel.uni-hohenheim.de
