Grib file containing upper air fields on model levels related to the 10-km QBOLAM model (operational at the Italian Environment Agency, Rome, Italy). The file contains the following fields, for 48h forecast with a time step of 1h:
- Temperature (K)
- Geopotential (m**2/s**2)
- Pressure (Pa)
- Specific Humidity (kg/kg)
Please note that, since the model is hydrostatic and the vertical coordinate is sigma (pressure/surface pressure), the geopotential is provided as well, in order to give a reference for the model level height (which is variable in time); pressure is redundant (it is found as sigma times surface pressure).
Please also notice that on DDOM, only 20 levels (sigma between 0.5 to 1), below 4000m amsl, are available.
