Summary
Grib file containing upper air wind fields on model levels related to the 10-km QBOLAM model (operational at the Italian Environment Agency, Rome, Italy). The file contains the following fields, for 48h forecast only with a time step of 1h:
- U-velocity (m/s)
- V-velocity (m/s)
- W-velocity (m/s)
Please note that, since the model is hydrostatic and the vertical coordinate is sigma (pressure/surface pressure), the vertical velocity is a diagnostic field. However, it is provided as well.
Please also notice that on CDOM, all the 40 levels (sigma between 0 to 1) are provided.
