Summary
Windtracer is a commercial Doppler Lidar from LMCT. It can be operated in scanning and slant path mode. The wind profile is calculated automatically using VAD algorithm for 10 minutes intervals. No manual quality control is applied.

Description
For the algorithm only data with SNR better than -4 dB is used. VAD is performed if more than 5 datapoints are fulfilling this critera and are covering a range of at least 120 deg azimuth. Standard deviation for VAD-fit result and standard deviation for average mean value are showing the quality of VAD-fit result and the variablility of wind velocity.
Description
If the input file for the VAD is missing, a dummyfile replaces the missing timestep.
