cops_nebt_ubt1etg_met_d: Radiation and soil measurement data of the energy balance network (NEBT) operating during COPS 2007: station UBT1ETG (Fussbach I)

Summary
The energy balance station UBT1ETG near Fussbach continuously measured radiation and soil parameters in a corn field with a sampling frequency of 1 Hz averaged to 1 min values within the data logger. After a check for plausibility the 1 min values have been averaged to 30 min intervals, which are provided in this data set. The following instruments have been installed for the parameters given below:
- soil heat flux: HFP01SC heat flux plate (Hukseflux Thermal Sensors, The Netherlands)
- soil temperature: Pt100
- volumetric soil water content: TRIME TDR probe (IMKO Micromodultechnik GmbH)
- longwave radiation components: Eppley PIR pyrgeometer (Eppley Laboratory, Inc., USA)
- shortwave radiation components: CM24 pyranometer/albedometer (Kipp and Zonen, The
Netherlands)
- air pressure: P6520 pressure sensor (Ammonit)
The ground heat flux including the heat storage in the upper soil layer was determined from the measured soil heat flux, soil temperatures and volumetric soil water contents according to the 'simple measurement' (SM) method according to Liebethal and Foken (2007).

The data availability of the radiation and soil measurements at UBT1ETG (Fussbach) amounts to 90.1% of the total 4416 half-hourly measurements of the 92 days of the COPS period. Data failure (9.9%) occurred due to measuring device problems or power failure.
