Summary
Tropospheric profiles of atmospheric backscatter were measured with the differential absorption lidar (DIAL) onboard the DLR Falcon research aircraft during COPS 2007.
Installed nadir-viewing it operated on 1064 nm for aerosol characterisation.
Given is the atmospheric backscatter coefficient with unit m-1 sr-1.
Invalid data, e.g. below thick clouds or during aircraft turns are marked as such.
