Hindcast simulation of total phosphorus and river runoff over Europe using the Hydrological Discharge model (Hagemann et al. 2020) driven with HydroPy (Stake and Hagemann, 2021) and Global Soil Wetness Project Phase 3 (GWSP3; Dirmeyer et al. 2006; Kim 2017) atmospheric dataset. Phosphorus concentrations were derived from the IMAGE-GNM model (Beusen et al. 2015). The simulation covers the period from 1979 to 2000, with daily frequency output. The model domain has a spatial resolution of 5 arc minutes (approximately 8-9 km), extending longitudinally boundaries from 11W to 69E, and latitudinally from 27N to 72N.
