This file contains scripts, libraries, and input data used to produce the figures of the article Jungclaus, J.H. et al.: The ICON Earth System Model V1.0. Update Version2 (March 2022) This archive contains the scripts used to produce the figures in the revised version of the manuscript “The ICON Earth System Model V1.0”, submitted by Jungclaus et al. to the Journal of Advances in Earth System Modelling in January 2022 (original submission was August 2021). This version was accepted by JAMES without any request for further changes in February 2022. Model output for the DECK experiments (piControl, historical, 1pctCO2, abrupt4xCO2) can be found on ESGF, e.g. https://esgf-data.dkrz.de/search/cmip6-dkrz/ under source-id “ICON-ESM-LR”. Data sets used to produce the figures are included in this archive. Plotting software: For different compartments, we used different software packages: python (ocean, ocean biogeochemistry), ncl (atmosphere), and GRADS (land). The ENSO analyses were performed using the CVDP package based on ncl: CVDP version: 5.1.1 (released Oct 26 2019) obtained from: https://www.cesm.ucar.edu/working_groups/CVC/cvdp/code.html Some python scripts use the library “pyicon”, which is included in the PYICON directory.
