Model-data integration to track 21st century land carbon fluxes: Environmental carbon fluxes

Bultan, Selma; Pongratz, Julia

Dataset
Summary
Carbon fluxes from woody vegetation due to environmental processes produced by the model-data integration approach described in Bultan et al.,2022.

Description Variables:

- SLAND_B: Carbon flux from woody vegetation (trees, shrubs) into litter, dead wood, soil and/or atmosphere due to environmental processes (e.g. wildfires, windthrow, insects). Fluxes due to an increasing atmospheric CO2 concentration are also included. Units are in PgC yr-1. Releases of carbon from woody vegetation are positive, whereas uptakes of carbon by woody vegetation are negative. Variable is included in the File ‘SLAND_B_BLUE_global.nc’.
