IPCC DDC SAR and TAR: ECHAM4/OPYC3 model description
Additional Info
Summary
This additional info contains information of an archived IPCC DDC TAR web page describing the ECHAM4/OPYC model:
The coupled global model ECHAM4/OPYC3 was developed in co-operation between the Max-Planck-Institute for Meteorology (MPI) and Deutsches Klimarechenzentrum (DKRZ) in Hamburg, Germany. Both models are documented, separately:
- Roeckner, E., Arpe, K., Bengtsson, L., Christoph, M., Claussen, M., Dümenil, L., et al. (1996). The atmospheric general circulation model ECHAM-4: Model description and simulation of present-day climate.
