This experiment contains the monthly global mean all-sky spectrally resolved outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) calculated based on model output of the MPI-ESM1-2-HR model performing the 'historical' experiment of CMIP6, using the RTTOV radiative transfer model. These monthly spectra can be used to calculate the global mean all-sky spectral longwave feedback parameter by regressing them against monthly values of near-surface air temperature from the publicly availalbe model output of MPI-ESM1-2-HR (CMIP6, historical).
Additionally, the experiment contains the time-averaged global-mean spectrally resolved atmospheric transmission, which can be used to estimate the surface feedback.
