ECHAM4/HOPE 1000 years Climate and Variability Studies (monthly means)

Legutke, Stephanie

Experiment
Summary
The atmosphere-ocean general circulation model ECHAM4/HOPE-G is used for climate change and climate variability studies.
In order to study the internal variability of the model a control simulation with fixed present-day CO2 concentration has been performed.
The ECHAM4 and the HOPE-G model are described in the MPI report No. 218 and the DKRZ report No. 13, respectively. Technical details about the coupling of both models are given in the DKRZ report No. 18.
Experiment with Fortran77 version on NEC SX-4.
