COSMO-CLM Weddell Sea Simulation Low Level Jet Data

Summary
Daily Simulations (6h spinup) with a polar adapted COSMO-CLM 5.0 version for 2002-2016 of the Weddell Sea Region (Antarctica), forced with ERA-Interim and daily sea ice concentration from satellite data (AMSR,SSMI,AMSR2) and a horizontal resolution of ca. 15km were searched for Low Level Jets (LLJs).

This data set include 5 parameters of the detected LLJs:
height, wind speed, relative wind speed decrease, change of potential temperature (between surface and LLJ), change of wind direction (between surface and LLJ)

Thirs data set includes further the height and strengh of inversions detected in the lowest 0-100m (surface) and the upper 100-1000m (lifted).
