Summary
The "Monsoon 2.0" project is a BMBF supported Chinese-German cooperation in the
field of climate science. In addition to the "Monsoon ensemble", we performed two 2.5-km simulations that cover 20 days in July 2021. In this period regions in Western Germany and central China have been
hit by severe precipitation events. We want to assess how well ICON
captures these events for given boundary condition.
