[ Derived from parent entry - See data hierarchy tab ] This data of the project CORDEX includes CORDEX experiments for the domain Europe in high resolution (EUR-11) based on KNMI's RACMO22E model. Each file contains a single variable in the format NetCDF-4 compressed with CF standard names (CF-1.4). The data are provided on the model computational (native) grid. Information on additional project naming conventions is specified in the project description. This data was retracted due to errors in the forcing, see quality for details. Description
This dataset together with all HadGEM2-forced RACMO data on the EUR-11 CORDEX domain in versions from March 2015 was retracted on 2016-05-12. Information from Erik van Meijngaard on 2016-05-12: "It turned out that we had made a substantial error in the remapping of SST-fields from HadGEM2-ES model grid onto the RACMO model grid. Unfortunately, the error has so much impact on the downscaling experiments that it can not be ignored. For that reason we decided to remedy the remapping and redo all the HadGEM2-forced RACMO simulations. This is now ongoing."
