HD 5.2 Forcing: HydroPy WFDE5- based surface and subsurface runoff

Hagemann, Stefan; Stacke, Tobias

Dataset
Summary
We utilized the global hydrology model HydroPy (Stacke and Hagemann 2021) to simulate daily time series of surface and subsurface runoff at global 0.5 degree resolution. Daily data of the atmospheric dataset WFDE5 (Cucchi et al. 2020; 0.5° resolution) were utilized to force HydroPy from 1979-2019. The start file for the simulation was taken from an analogous HydroPy simulation forced by GWSP3 data started at 1901 (see respective dataset of this experiment).
